Dr. Katie Engleman

Dr. Katie Engleman grew up in a small town in Michigan. Like most veterinarians, her passion for animals began at a young age. Once setting sights on becoming a veterinarian, she began working at a local small animal clinic in high school and continued to work as a veterinarian assistant throughout college. She earned a Bachelors in Medical Microbiology from Michigan State University and, after her acceptance to Western University of Health Sciences, headed off to California, ultimately earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced small animal medicine for over a year in Florida. Special interests include soft tissue surgery, clinical pathology, and preventative care. Recently she made the move to Ohio with her cat Kiwi and is excited to be a part of such a wonderful community! In her free time, she likes to go hiking and read.
